PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI MEDIA ULAR TANGGA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS VIII SMP NUSANTARA INDAH SINTANG

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of snakes and ladders learning media in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in Class VIII of Nusantara Indah Sintang Junior High School in the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is qualitative research method. The subjects in this study were all students in class VIII of Nusantara Indah Junior High School Sintang in the 2023/2024 academic year, totalling 13 students, including 10 female students and 3 male students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and test questions. Based on data analysis, the research results are as follows: (1) the application of snakes and ladders learning media is in accordance with the steps specified on the observation sheet. Judging from the results of teacher activity observations in cycle I was 90% and in cycle II was 100% with the assessment criteria for teacher activity observation results very well. (2) the improvement of students' learning outcomes can be seen from the test results, average scores, and classical completeness of each cycle. Where the average value of cycle I was 63.07 and the classical completeness was 53.84%, while the average value of cycle II was 88.46 and the classical completeness was 92.30%, meaning that snakes and ladders learning media can improve student learning outcomes. (3) Students' responses to the snakes and ladders learning media expressed positive responses based on statements on the students' interview sheets. It can be concluded that through snakes and ladders media can improve the learning outcomes of students in social studies class VIII SMP Nusantara Indah Sintang in the 2023/2024 academic year.

This research aims to find out how people carry out social interactions amidst religious differences in Ransi Dakan village. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative approach, namely by observing the activities that residents carry out and working together with the Ransi Dakan community. The aim is to find out the character of each community in Ransi Dakan Village. The data analysis technique begins with observing and interacting with local residents through communication. The results of this research show that community interactions still have an attitude of tolerance between religious communities that is still well maintained. People carry out religious activities in accordance with the religion they believe in. Activities in terms of cooperation and mutual cooperation are carried out by the community together, without distinguishing between the beliefs held by other individuals. In terms of accommodation, people always respect and respect each other, such as during religious holiday activities including Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Catholicism and religious beliefs. Meanwhile, in terms of assimilation, people are able to accept the religious differences that exist in their families, the result of interfaith marriages.

Â This article discusses the role of students in preventing and overcoming the dangers of drugs through outreach and action carried out with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). Students have great potential as agents of social change in efforts to prevent drug abuse. By organizing outreach and action with BNN, students can increase public awareness of the bad effects of drugs, as well as provide information about prevention and rehabilitation. This article also highlights the importance of collaboration between students and BNN to create a campus and community environment that is free from the dangers of drugs. Methods used First, always be alert to technological developments, sophisticated technology means that dealers can easily carry out their intentions to distribute illegal drugs. Second, set an example so that you can provide guidance and encouragement to do better. Third is caring, as well as the most important thing to prevent and eradicate drug abuse. In this case, students must be true pioneers in eradicating drugs, not just as "spectators" or even owners, distributors, dealers or users. Apart from being a propaganda machine capable of destroying untruths, students are expected to become an idealistic mass group that upholds norms and moral values, as well as being agents of change, especially in the world of education.

This research aims to describe the implementation of character education (values of tolerance, social care, religion and togetherness) in the village community. The research analyzes the implementation of character education in the village community with a focus on the values of tolerance, social care, religion and togetherness. Through a qualitative approach, this article explores how villages manage diversity, promote social care, permeate religious values and build a sense of community. The analysis shows that despite positive efforts, there are also challenges in implementing these values. Inter-ethnic conflict, lack of participation in social activities, and inequality in religious understanding are some aspects that need attention. In this context, recommendations are given to strengthen character education initiatives, expand community participation and build inter-group dialogue to strengthen character values in village communities. This article is expected to provide insights for readers on the dynamics of character education implementation in the ransi dakan village environment.

This research aims to explore the urgency of dealing with waste in Sintang City with a focus on analyzing community apathy towards environmental health. Waste is a serious problem that threatens environmental sustainability, public health and the ecosystem as a whole. Community apathy towards the waste problem can be a major obstacle in mitigation efforts. This research method uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving surveys, interviews and data analysis. Respondents were taken from various levels of society in Sintang City. Analysis of people's apathy towards waste was carried out to identify factors that influence ignorance towards environmental health.The research results show that the majority of people in Sintang City have a high level of apathy towards the waste problem. Factors such as a lack of understanding of environmental health impacts, a lack of awareness of personal responsibility, and uncertainty regarding waste management are the main causes of apathy. In this context, education and outreach programs need to be improved to increase public understanding of the urgency of dealing with waste and its impact on environmental health. This research makes an important contribution in making interested parties, including the government and non-governmental organizations, aware of the urgency of handling the waste problem in Sintang City. Joint efforts from various parties are needed to change apathy into awareness and real action in maintaining environmental health.

This research aims to identify and develop effective strategies in building a sense of community responsibility for waste management in Sintang City. The main focus of this research is real work actions carried out by students as agents of change in encouraging active community participation. Through surveys and qualitative analysis, this research reveals key factors that influence people's attitudes and behavior regarding waste management.The research findings highlight the importance of educational, participatory and inclusive approaches in involving students in waste management efforts. By understanding local dynamics and adapting strategies based on community needs, students' real work actions can be a significant driver for increasing community awareness and responsibility for environmental issues, especially waste management in Sintang City. The practical implications of this research can be used as a basis for designing policies and intervention programs that are more effective in increasing community participation in managing waste.

The aim of the socialization activity on the dangers of drugs at Sintang State High School (SMA) 4 Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan is so that participants can understand the impacts of drug use, both physical, psychological and socio-economic. Socialization activities use participatory methods, lectures and discussions. The socialization activity was carried out on December 12 2023 with the number of participants taking part in the socialization activity consisting of 534 students and 3 teachers located in the classrooms and fields of SMA Negeri 4 Sintang. For this reason, through this socialization activity on the dangers of drug abuse, it is able to increase the understanding of students at SMA Negeri 4 Sintang regarding the types of narcotics, the impact of drug abuse from physical, psychological, educational, social and economic aspects as well as prevention and control methods including drugs among children and child. teenager. For this reason, this socialization activity can protect the younger generation as the nation's next generation, especially students at SMA Negeri 4 Sintang, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan, from the dangers of drug abuse.

This includes prevention and education, anti-drug campaigns, and massive enforcement actions starting from families, schools, and communities. Therefore, parents must act democratically by treating their children or teenagers well and giving them enough attention. To prevent drug abuse among teenagers, schools must provide education and various information about the dangers of drugs. In society, every member of society must act firmly and consistently as social control to prevent drug abuse. The research results show that drugs have spread in Indonesia today, especially among teenagers. There is already a drug emergency in Indonesia, and everyone must pay attention to this. Meanwhile, there are several steps that need to be taken to deal with the problem of drug abuse among teenagers. This includes prevention and education, anti-drug campaigns, and massive enforcement actions starting from families, schools, and communities. Therefore, parents must act democratically by treating their children or teenagers well and giving them enough attention. To prevent drug abuse among teenagers, schools must provide education and various information about the dangers of drugs. Implementation of Pancasila Education Learning in fostering an attitude of tolerance in class IV students in SD N Keputran 1 Yogyakarta. This study aims to 1) Describe the implementation of Pancasila Education Learning in fostering an attitude of tolerance in class IV students at SD N Keputran 1 Yogyakarta; 2) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning of Pancasila education in fostering an attitude of tolerance in class IV students in SD N Keputran 1 Yogyakarta; 3) Describe the solution of the Pancasila Education Learning Obstacles in fostering an attitude of tolerance in class IV students at SD N Keputran 1 Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation techniques. This research instrument is guidelines for observation, interview and documentation guidelines. Data validity test using a credibility test with triangulation. Data analysis techniques using Milles and Huberman models, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila education learning in fostering tolerance by planning learning tools, teachers motivated and provide advice and teachers reflect learning. The attitude of tolerance that has been applied is religious tolerance, cultural tolerance, social life tolerance, learning style tolerance, and preference tolerance, supporting factors in carrying out Pancasila education learning in fostering a tolerance attitude, namely the readiness of students to follow learning, positive support for school residents, religious diversity Supporting, supporting facilities and inhibiting factors, namely limited time to carry out learning, student background conditions, and lack of motivation of parents, solutions to overcome obstacles in the implementation of Pancasila education learning in fostering tolerance by providing evaluating learning materials, effective communication, providing motivation, providing Examples of tolerance behavior and improvement of learning models or approaches in the learning process.
